Our Story

Sylwia’s Ice Cream was founded in 2018 by newlywed husband and wife team Brad and Sylwia Mills, whose determined goal was to work together in their new found passion for making and serving ice cream and simply to make people happy!

Sylwia’s of course was named after Sylwia, as many husbands name their boats after their wives, Brad wanted to name the store after her to give her that joy. The Polish spelling of the name Sylwia is a bit different than the typical spelling because of the “w”, but it is pronounced as an American “v”.

The “W” helped us to create the effect of the 2 ice cream cones, which we like to think represents our unique personalities and our marriage. Brad is the vanilla, simple, easy going, no big deal about anything. Sylwia, on the other hand, is the strawberry and chocolate that is over spilling, very expressive and creative, never luke-warm and extra sweet! Like the scoops of ice cream in our logo, we stick together like glue, crazy about each other!

Our Beliefs

We are both believers in Christ Jesus without Whom we would not be where we are today. We trust in His divine direction in every decision we make, seeking His perfect will in our lives. As the Lord is a gentleman, we too do not force our beliefs onto anyone, but we believe our living should express His divine attributes and human virtues.
